All of Belinda's lessons were based on the students individual learning plans. These were well match and supported the students to develop skills. She was also able to draw on subject content and on prior knowledge.

Belinda was aware of the students devices and was able to support the students in their use. In a class discussion around devices she was able to share her knowledge of the newest technology and the ways this can impact student learning and outcomes.

While on placement Belinda was part of PD session around theory of mind. After this session Belinda used what she had learnt to support students in the classroom. She was also able to draw on her knowledge and understanding of Audiology to have discussions about assistive devices with a range of students.
Belinda is a highly organised teacher. She sources relevant and highly accessible resources for students to use and develop their skills. She gathers a wide range of information about the students she is working with and ensures she is making connections to their prior knowledge and their cultural needs. She is also aware of research and best practice in relation to teaching Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. Belinda is highly professional in all her conduct both with staff and with students.
