Through your lessons planning and your session with the chosen student you set SMART goals. Advise was given about wording and who/what will do what/when. Through the student's PLSP, Kim was able to address the smart goals that were assigned to the student, via her individual teaching session. Kim used a total communication approach with the students and this was well received. Kim was able to link the student's interest into her planning/teaching session.

Kim was very conscious about apply strategies suggested through the course into her teaching, learning and planning sessions. Kim is an experienced teacher and has already in her practices, applied theory in her practicum lessons. I would advise that Kim continue and maintain her interest in learning Auslan which will enhance her teaching with Deaf/HH.
Kim was outstanding in her approach to the students within the Unit. It is a dynamic and diverse classroom and Kim was able to address behaviour and taught contents successfully. Kim took on board all advise and applied these within the next lesson. She involved herself in the operation of the school as per criteria and had a great working relationship with her chosen student and parent.
