Anna also used the observation lessons to select language and speech targets to add to her lessons. Anna used her SMART goals as the means of evaluation of the students attainment. Anna was very comfortable and effectively used the students hearing aids and FM. She was always aware of positioning the student to access and use their technology to optimize listening.Anna had the opportunity to observe a teacher trouble shoot a FM that was not working and watched as EA inserted his Hearing Aid.

Anna's high level of understanding of current practice was evident in her lesson plans which incorporated a variety of Auditory Verbal strategies. Anna was able to explain and provide strategies and discuss student's needs with the classroom teachers. Her manner with the teachers was courteous and highly professional. Anna valued feedback about her lessons and would put the suggestions into practice. After each lesson Anna would review and discuss what she thought were the strengths of the lesson and what needed to be changed.
Anna provided a number of excellent lessons which demonstrated her understanding of the challenges H.I brings to students and she produced interesting and effective lessons to achieve the goals she formulated. Anna had a good rapport with the students who were engaged and happy to complete tasks. It was a delight to work with Anna. She will make a positive contribution in educating H.I students.
