Amy set a goal for a student to learn technical Auslan signs in the area of Science based on the student's IEP. The student successfully achieved the learning goal of incorporating 12 specific signs accurately within the science experiment lessons as well as improving the students clarity and accuracy in her signs. Amy is not a proficient Auslan user herself and yet was able to achieve the goal with the student at the same time as improving her own knowledge and understanding of Auslan structure and vocabulary.
