With more experience of the students learning levels , she will be able to set higher expectations , although she was able to provide some extension activities when needed.

Renee is highly competent in understanding hearing aids, Roger systems, SAS systems and computer assistive technology. She also demonstrates a willingness to problem solve and to learn more.

Outcome 5 - Renee was able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of communication philosophies/approaches and shows competence in one or more of the following:

Outcome 7 - in this second practicum Renee did not have the opportunity to engage with any parents/carers. However she competently worked collaboratively with class teachers and other professionals and in her first practicum did engage successfully with parents.
Renee is able to demonstrate best practice that reflects her ability to engage her students in a very positive and productive manner. She is 'tuned in' to their learning needs
Renee is an exceptional teacher. She is organised, knowledgeable and caring. She is a great asset to the teaching of children with hearing loss and language /learning difficulties.
She demonstrated use of her professional learning from her current studies and previous practicum to improve her teaching practice and took on board all suggestions from the Cooperating Teacher/s.
Her portfolio reflects her planning , reporting and evaluating skills.
