Sharyn effectively and expediently demonstrated the ability to link an individual child's IEP goals to sessions during each session . Goals were specific and measurable. I wish to add that the provision was over and above what was needed to complete practicum guidelines. Sharyn was enthusiastic, and committed to gaining experience and opportunities in goal setting. Attention was given to ensuring evaluation included specific examples for the child observed and/or the child attending Sharyn's session.
She voluntarily provided written language samples for the teacher after each session she observed.

Sharyn attended two individual sessions with children with unilateral hearing loss, ( cochlear implant) whilst observing and participating in the use of the Mini Mik . During early listening sounds and the Ling six sound test Sharyn had the opportunity to replace the devices after single ear testing. Sharyn took every opportunity to learn about the children's devices adopting a hands on approach. She also attended a mapping session with a family and the audiologist.
She also attended and Early Learning Group session and participated well in play activities, language and music groups with children and observed the role of the consultant in a noisy environment to promote accessibility for all listeners.
