Student was able to evaluate achievement of goals and when necessary scaffold down a level when not achieved. Over the practicum the student confidently listened to the child's hearing aids and WCDs. She was able to trouble shoot problems with devices and was confident to seek assistance with new technology such as a Phonak cross hearing aid. The student invested time and support to the children to establish their 'critical listening distance' (CLD) for self advocacy.

The student is very aware of the amount of professional learning involved in this field of teaching. She was always asking questions to improve her understanding and performance. She was open to suggestions and always listened to advice and changed/adjusted her lessons accordingly. The student excelled in her ability to reflect on her practice and observations to improve her performance.
It was a pleasure working with this student who was eager to learn and put into practice suggestions and theory discussed. The student has a wonderful rapport with her children and engages positively and firmly to achieve their goals. She is able to establish the children's' performance levels and adjust accordingly. She excels with her range of resource materials to motivate her children.
