Stephanie is aware of putting the application of theory into practice. She changed her lessons to best suit the learning of the students. She "chunked" the lessons especially in reading for students, she modified questions in Mathematics making the goals achievable to reach the outcomes of the syllabus. She assisted students with language acquisition and provided them with better vocabulary to use in their writing and in their conversational skills.
Stephanie has been a total delight to work with. She has provided a positive experience for the students, School Learning Support Officers and the teachers. She has brought to the classroom real life experiences of someone dealing with a hearing loss and has fantastic connections with the Deaf Community. The students were very eager to participate in all her lessons. Stephanie has developed better skills in making her lessons more visual and starting the lesson more promptly than being distracted by minor behaviours of the students.
Do you consider that the Student is at risk of failing to achieve “Graduate level” by the end of their overall Practicum experience? No
