Jade used the class teachers pre-set language and speech ILP goals in all of her lessons. She separated each goal by breaking down the skills, language and focuses to small achievable successes/activities for each lesson and child.
Supporting Jade to plan activities and experiences to enhance the children's goals was a pleasure. After each session we discussed how she thought she achieved the set goals and what growth of the children and herself she had made in her teaching. Jade maintained high expectations of students, took observations of the students and reflected about her teaching for each lesson in relation to the goals and learning progress of the students.

During jade's video 1;1 session we discussed the use of wait time upon reflection of her session and teaching. Jade the used her theory based knowledge to improve her practice to support the students in listening and following instructions by using wait time in her lessons after this session.
Jade always went above and beyond to cater for the students needs during her time here at Aurora.
